The game

Canopy Run is developed by David Jones. Version 1.0 works offline and does not require an account. The app does not include advertising, tracking, third-party analytics or in-app purchases, and does not send gameplay data to the developer.

Information on your device

The game saves your best distance and preferences, including character, units, controls, orientation and sound, on your device. These values are used only by the app. Device tilt readings control the rider during play and are not retained as a motion history or sent off the device. Deleting the app removes its locally stored data; your device backup settings may retain a backup.

Links and support

If you choose to open a support, privacy or sound-credit link, your browser connects to that website. The support website's server may record standard request information such as IP address, requested page and time for operation and security. The website does not use advertising cookies or analytics scripts. Information you voluntarily provide when contacting support is used to respond to your request.

Support requests

The optional contact form collects your reply email, selected topic and message. Amazon Web Services SES delivers your request to our support inbox. We use this information only to help you and handle your request, not for marketing. The form uses a temporary security session cookie and short-lived rate-limit records to prevent abuse. Support correspondence remains in our email system while needed to resolve your request and maintain a support history. You can request deletion using the same form. Please do not send passwords, payment details or other sensitive information.

Apple services

App Store downloads, TestFlight testing and any diagnostic sharing you enable with Apple are governed by Apple's policies and your device settings.

Updates

If future features change how data is handled, this policy will be updated. Future paid features are not part of version 1.0.
